1966 Chevrolet Chevelle
The motor is a mildly built 388 cubic inch "stroked" small block with a long list of very new and high quality components. The short block and valve train were built and installed by Ezell Racing. It makes plenty of power, but is still a very dependable motor and can be driven as far as you'd like it to go. Has Aluminum Radiator. Transmission is a Built Glide with a High End BTE Converter 3800 RPM Stall. Everything under the Hood is very new. The Engine has less than 500 miles on it, and starts with the first turn of the Ignition.
The car handles very well. It has great acceleration, but also has solid stopping power with the Wilwood Front Disc Brake Conversion. Has large Dual Master Cylinder. The Suspension is good and the car is fun to drive. I've left the 3.80's in it to make it more highway friendly. It rides around town very nicely but will boil the rear tires if you mash the gas.
The body is good but not show quality condition. Passenger Floors and Trunk Floors are very solid. The Paint has great shine but has chips and dings. Looks really good but is driver quality.
Exterior is the original Aztec Bronze. Wheels are 17 inch Torque Thrust II with BFG T/A Radials. The Interior is 98% restored and looks excellent. It has new seats, new door panels, new headliner, new carpet, weather strip.
This is a great car to own and drive. It just needs a home and caring owner. With over $7,000 in the Motor and Drive Train alone, this is a very good deal.
